The Starry Threshold is the sixth level of the Classic Tribe in Lemmings 2: The Tribes.

Silver medal strategy[]

Let two lemmings walk to the left while the third lemming is made a Blocker to hold the others back. Make the first lemming a Blocker before the water while your Trailblazer walks up to the slope and digs as soon as he steps onto breakable terrain at the top. When he hits steel and turns left, make him mine until it is possible to dig down to ground level. When he hits steel again, start bashing once he turns right. Build over the water then blow up the first Blocker to free your other lemmings. Meanwhile, your Trailblazer must build up to the bottom pillar of the large wall and use the last Basher to create a tunnel straight to the exit. Nuke the remaining Blocker when there's no other lemmings walking.

Gold medal strategy[]

Make the first lemming a Digger when he's standing above the right half of the first pillar below then build to stop him once the pit is deep enough to contain the other lemmings. One lemming will walk out of the pit, so have it dig when he's above the right half of the second pillar. The rest of the level can be executed as the silver strategy above, except you have one of the contained lemmings continue digging out of the pit once the path is safe.

Version differences[]

Game Boy/Game Gear
  • Time limit increased to 7 minutes.
  • The water next to the cliff has been moved a little to the right.
  • There is a tunnel inside the bottom of the cliff.
SNES
  • Builder, Basher and Miner skills have been increased to 10, 5 and 5 respectively.
  • Time limit increased to 8 minutes.
