Gold medal strategy
Turn the second lemming into an Attractor and, if needed, make the first lemming a Hopper to get him out of range (upon climbing the tennis racket he will hit his head and return to normal). When he turns right and reaches the edge of the green ledge, make him a Platformer so that the other lemmings will safely fall onto the second small green block. You may need to give him a Magic Carpet so he doesn't overshoot the block. If you do, make sure your Trailblazer falls through the hole of the pool table. When he reaches ground level, use two Platformer skills to cross the water, then one more to reach the slope leading to the exit. Make your Attractor jump to free the other lemmings. Use Filler skills as needed to free your lemmings from the pit to the left of the pool table.
Turn the sixth lemming into an Attractor so that the first lemming is already out of range. As soon as he turns left, give your Trailblazer two Platformer skills. When he's directly above the second block, give him a Magic Carpet and use the Fan to guide him down before he lands on the pool table. Use Filler skills to escape the pit then let him drop through a Y shaped hole. Use a Platformer skill to seal up the next hole he encounter so that he turns around and walks a long path to the exit. Make your Attractor jump to free the other lemmings.
Game Boy/Game Gear strategy
Turn the first lemming into a Runner, and make him jump immediately so that he bounces off the wall, then again over the first spikes, and a third time when he's in the shallow pit to gain some distance over the others. Give him a Magic Carpet when he's heading right and about to fall off the edge and use the Fan to guide him down to the slope. Make him jump against the wall to cover more distance and once more to get up the slope. Once at the edge, give him a platformer skill. Make all the other lemmings Runners then have the first lemming use two Pyramider skills to escape the pit. After he falls through a Y shaped hole, use a Platformer to seal off the next narrow gap, but make him jump to interrupt his work prematurely. Make sure the first lemming is alone for a little longer so make some lemmings jump so they hit their head onto the ceiling and get stunned. Have the lead lemming use one more Platformer skill halfway down a slope to reach a platform that leads to the exit.
