The Snare Trap, or rope trap, is a trap found in the Pillar tileset of the original Lemmings game. It is a mechanism resembling a gibbet that will pull an unsuspecting lemming up by its feet using a boulder and pulley system, then drop it on its head.
It is also the first trap to appear in the Lemmings game that would require a lemming to trigger it.
