Scaling the Heights is the sixteenth level of Havoc, featured in Oh No! More Lemmings
Strategy[]
This is it, the final five levels of Havoc. Don't give up now.
The first lemming to make it to the bottom of the cliff must immediately build over the small gap in the ground, using one tile to seal it completely. Place a Blocker before the tentacles, and begin building to the left so that your lemmings will be able to walk back up the hill.
Meanwhile, send a Climber to the left and have it mine down the instant he makes it over the vertical rock before the exit. Once he breaks through he must immediately build up so that he hits his head on the moss platform where the exit stands. When he's heading right and is at the bottom of his ramp, mine down to reach the other lemmings.
By the time the Climber has broken through the cliff, the ramp should be complete and lemmings will begin walking up his tunnel. The first lemming to reach the top of the Climber's ramp should be turned into a Blocker to stop your lemmings from falling to their death, and immediately after another lemming must build right to reach the first tunnel. Place one more Blocker at the edge of the vertical rock, and assign the last Builder skill to a lemming heading right towards him. He should bounce off the Blocker and his ramp should connect to the platform where the exit is located. Nuke the Blockers once all other lemmings make it to the exit.
100% Solution[]
For the 100% Solution, watch this video https://youtu.be/G8Wmd3P_s4E It can be done on the DOS Platform.
Version differences[]
- Macintosh
- Because of the high-resolution graphics in the Macintosh version, a vertical part of the wall that's on the left of the steel is bumpy and can't be climbed, thus making this level unintentionally a lot harder and needing the player to use more builders.
