Save Me is the twenty-ninth level of the Mayhem difficulty in Lemmings.
Strategy[]
The first Lemming should start building immediately after landing on the steel block while Blockers are placed on the extreme edges. Have a Lemming dig through the bridge so that they do not fall in the water. When the builder has begin building a fifth bridge, repair the digger's hole with another builder. When the builder finishes its fifth bridge, turn it into a Blocker. Begin building towards the upper steel platform to the left without having the bridge seal off the fall to the bridge below. Some Lemmings may die during construction but the fall distance from the actual steel should be safe. It is important to keep the Lemmings as spread out as possible for later.
One Lemming should continue heading left while a Blocker must be placed halfway across the second steel block to keep the other Lemmings at bay. Have the Trailblazer build towards the pillar with one builder. Once the bridge reaches it, the Lemming must bash, then dig just before the end of the pillar, then bash again to provide Lemmings a safe fall to ground level. Once the basher finishes, continue building the bridge to get over the blocker and raise the release rate to 99 (there should be two minutes remaining on the clock).
After a long staircase, the exit will be found sitting on a steel platform close to the water, with two more steel platforms located above it. The middle steel platform is placed slightly further to the left than the other two, making it possible for Lemmings to take a single step before plunging to their death. When the lead Lemming has landed on the middle steel platform, it must build immediately and become a blocker after placing three bricks. This can be repeated for the lower platform with the lead Lemming of the incoming mass. Some Lemmings may fall in the water but as long as they are spread out far, enough Lemmings will be saved. Nuke the remaining Blockers.
Atari Lynx strategy[]
Place a Blocker on the far right edge of the starting platform, then send a Builder to the left starting from the left edge. Place another Blocker behind the Builder's ramp. Keep building until he reaches the pillar and bash through. As soon as he's through, build to reach the mid-section of the staircase (otherwise the Lemmings will die from the fall).
After he lands on the staircase midsection, turn your Trailblazer into a Builder so that his first brick seals the one pixel wide gap in the floor, which will cause him to turn around when his ramp collides with the stairs. Turn him into a Digger when he's on the third step to get to the ground below. When he turns around to the left, turn him into a Digger at the very edge of the ground and then into a Builder when there is one pixel left beneath him. It will take three Builder skills to get across the chasm but turn him into a Basher before he collides with the steel platform above the exit.
Assign a Builder skill to a Lemming held behind when it's next to the right Blocker. This will create a ramp that allows the Lemmings to get over the left Blocker. Turn the first Lemming of this group into a Blocker once he's past the Digger's tunnel through the stairs. This will turn the other Lemmings back into the tunnel and they'll make their way to the exit. Nuke the remaining Blockers.
