Save Me is the twenty-ninth level of the Mayhem difficulty in Lemmings. It is also the thirty-first level of the Hard difficulty in Lemmings Touch.
Strategy[]
Assign a Builder to the first Lemming immediately after it lands on the steel block, and continue assigning Builders to it each time it runs out of stairs. Assign Blockers to two Lemmings, one at each of the platform's edges. Assign a Digger to a Lemming at any point through the staircase where it will land back onto the platform.
When the Builder has begin building a fifth staircase, assign a Builder to a Lemming ahead of the Digger's hole to repair it. Assign a Blocker to the rightmost Builder once it finishes. Assign a Builder to a Lemming after it turns left at the staircase's end, and keep assigning Builders to it until the staircase ends above a larger steel block. Some Lemmings might die during its construction, but the fall distance from this steel block downward should be safe. It is important to keep the Lemmings as spread out as possible for later.
Allow one Lemming should continue heading left, and assign a Blocker to whichever Lemming is behind it halfway across the second steel block. Assign a Builder to the Lemming near the block's left edge, having it build towards the pillar. Once it reaches this pillar, assign a Basher to the Lemming. Assign a Digger to the Basher just before it reaches the pillar's end, then assign a Basher to it provide Lemmings a safe fall to ground level. Once the Basher finishes, assign a Builder to any other Lemming ahead of the most recently placed Blocker to get over it. Set the release rate to its maximum setting.
After a long walk, the Exit is found sitting on a steel platform close to the water, with two more steel platforms located above it. The middle steel platform is placed slightly further left than the other two, making it possible for Lemmings to take a single step before plunging to their death. Assign a Builder to the frontmost Lemming immediately after it lands on the middle steel platform, then assign a Blocker to it after it places three bricks.
All other walker Lemmings will begin approaching this area. Immediately assign a Builder to the first of these Lemmings to land on the bottom steel platform, then assign a Blocker to it after it places three bricks. Some Lemmings might fall in the water, but enough Lemmings will be saved as long as they are spread out. If necessary, Nuke the remaining Blockers.
Atari Lynx strategy[]
Place a Blocker on the far right edge of the starting platform, then send a Builder to the left starting from the left edge. Place another Blocker behind the Builder's ramp. Keep building until it reaches the pillar and bash through. As soon as it is through, build to reach the mid-section of the staircase (otherwise the Lemmings will die from the fall).
After it lands on the staircase midsection, turn your Trailblazer into a Builder so that its first brick seals the one pixel wide gap in the floor, which will cause it to turn around when its staircase collides with the stairs. Turn it into a Digger when it is on the third step to get to the ground below. When it turns around to the left, turn it into a Digger at the ground's very edge, and then into a Builder when there is one pixel left beneath it. It will take three Builder skills to get across the chasm, but turn it into a Basher before it collides with the steel platform above the exit.
Assign a Builder skill to a Lemming held behind when it is next to the right Blocker. This will create a ramp that allows the Lemmings to get over the left Blocker. Turn the first Lemming of this group into a Blocker once it is past the Digger's tunnel through the stairs. This will turn the other Lemmings back into the tunnel and they will make their way to the exit. Nuke the remaining Blockers.
