The pin trap is a set of spikes that pop out of a wall when a Lemming gets too close. It is found in the Pillar tileset of Lemmings.

- In the earlier tape release of the Amstrad CPC version, there are two pieces of terrain resembling this trap in its version of Lend a helping hand...., based on the ZX Spectrum version, which of course do not kill the lemmings directly. However, along with an extra wall added to resemble the Amiga version, they do result in the level being impossible to complete (ignoring the very slim possibility that the player could abuse the Cursor Glitch in just the right way), as the skillset was unchanged from the ZX Spectrum version. The later disk release reverted the level to its ZX Spectrum layout.
