Pillars of Hercules is the tenth level of the Mayhem difficulty in Lemmings.
Strategy[]
Quickly apply a Floater skill on the falling Lemming! Once he hits the right wall, use a Builder skill on him! You need to create a zigzag staircase under the trapdoor, otherwise all your Lemmings will fall and die. You'll lose some Lemmings, there's no way to avoid this, but apply as many Floaters as you can to minimize losses.
Once the staircase is high enough so no more Lemmings will die of falling, use a Climber on the left wall! When he is on the top, you must utilize two Digger skills at the two thin floors so he'll safely land to the side of the acid pool. When he does, start using Builder skills on him to reach the two small platforms and then to the exit. You have more than enough Builder skills, so this may be easy.
Once he makes it to the exit, set the release rate to 99, and use a Basher skill on the left wall to release the crowded Lemmings still under the trapdoor. You can save 85% of all Lemmings this way, with more than a minute left on the clock.
Version differences[]
- Atari Lynx
- Only has 40 Lemmings and 36 must be saved.
- There are now solid bricks on the right side of the entrance, making the right exit a more viable option.
