Look & Style is a menu in Lemmings Touch that allows the player to change the appearance of Lemmings in levels. Lemmings have several areas that can be customized, and several items are available for each aspect of Lemmings' appearances. Coins serve the purpose of unlocking most items in this menu.
Menu[]
The Look & Style menu features a scrollable list at its left. This list displays a set of categories corresponding to an aspect of the Lemmings' appearance; each entry is a long green button with a yellow outline. A Lemming stands at the right, serving to preview all equipped clothing items that will be seen in-game. It can be rotated by dragging across on it using the touchscreen. The Coins count is displayed at the bottom.
When a category is chosen, the list changes to display all items available for that category. A green checkmark is displayed on an entry's right end when the corresponding item is equipped. Items that were unlocked outside the Look & Style menu, and have never been equipped, are indicated with a red exclamation mark at an entry's left end. A green arrow on the bottom right allows the player to return to the category list, or to the main menu if the category list is already displayed.
Obtaining[]
Most clothing items can be bought from within the Look & Style menu using Coins, which are obtained by completing Objectives and difficulty levels. Each item has a distinct cost, but can be purchased at any time. One item, "Helghast", is instantly obtained after completing all Taxing levels.
A small set of clothing items are available to collect only during certain times of the year, as determined by the PlayStation Vita system's clock. They are automatically added to the Look & Style menu when the player opens Lemmings Touch during the corresponding period and closes the associated pop-up dialog.
Once a clothing item is obtained, it is always available to use and can be equipped or removed any number of times. Removing an item without equipping another one restores the default aspect of Lemmings' appearance.
