Leftovers are not always a waste is the twenty-eighth level of the Mayhem difficulty in the Genesis/Mega Drive port of Lemmings. It took the place of the level Mind the step..... from the original.
Strategy[]
Have the first lemming start building at one mortar line left from the floating steel blocks, and have the next two build right behind him. Send a Climber to the left, then have one lemming left behind build a ramp going left, starting from the sixth brick from the left. Have the Climber dig down the longest column, but starting as close as possible to the second steel pillar from the left. Just before he breaks through, build to stop him, after he places down two steps, have him dig down again. This will create a step that will reduce the fall of your lemmings, allowing them to reach ground level safely. Complete the builder's ramp to let your lemmings drop down to the exit.
