Jumper is a skill that can be given to a lemming in Lemmings 2: The Tribes, The Lemmings Chronicles, and L++. A jumper leaps from the ground and continues walking when it lands, unless it hits a ceiling or falls too far, in which case it stuns or splats depending on the size of the fall. The jumper can be used to cross a gap, reach the top of a small wall, or pass a blocker. In Lemmings 2 and L++, jumpers turn around when they hit a wall. In The Lemmings Chronicles, this skill is available to be used an unlimited number of times, however it cannot be assigned to lemmings beneath a low ceiling, and these jumpers do not turn around at walls.


The Jumper skill is one of the most commonly used skills in Lemmings 2: The Tribes, appearing in every tribe except the Classic Tribe. Across all ports, it is key to solving 93 out of 176 (52%) levels.
