Down the hatch is the ninth level of the Tricky difficulty in Lemmings (PS3).
This level requires the full version of Lemmings to be played. As the ninth level of the Tricky difficulty, it also requires the player to win at least six levels from the Tricky difficulty to be unlocked.
Strategy[]
The Lemmings drop onto a small, floating platform. They walk off of it and land into a larger floating platform surrounded by walls. The larger platform has a huge, long pipe connected beneath it. Far below it, there is a steel floor with higher, destructible floors by its sides. If the Lemmings are allowed to leave the platform at this point, they will fall to their death.
Assign the Climber and Floater skills to two Lemmings, with each walking in opposite directions. They will land on the higher floors at the sides of the metal floor. Allow the Climbers to walk into the nearby walls with overhangs, which will turn them around to face the platform from which they fell.
Assign Builders to the Climbers to make them reach the underside of the platform. Keep assigning Builders each time a Lemming runs out of stairs, until the two staircases meet directly underneath the pipe. When a Lemming is on the higher floor on the right, assign a Digger to it; this will lead into the bottommost room, which has the Exit portal.
The path to the Exit has been created; but first, set the Release rate to 99 to ensure that all Lemmings are already in the platform. Then, assign a Digger to a Lemming that is directly in the center of the platform. The Digger will begin digging through the pipe, with the other Lemmings descending into the hole along with it. After landing on the staircases, all Lemmings will be able to reach the Exit.
