Down the Middle We Go! is the sixteenth level of the Fun difficulty in 3D Lemmings.

Strategy[]
Turn the first lemming into a Builder when he reaches the end of the platform. He should create a ramp across the chasm before the next lemming arrives. Raise the release rate to 99 when he finishes, then turn him into a Turner when he walks past the crenellations of the second tower. Turn the next three lemmings into Turners to steer the lemmings into the doorway in the tower where a red X is painted on the floor. The first lemming to arrive must be made into a Digger. Now your lemmings will make it to the bottom of the tower without exploding from the fall, and make their way to the exit. Nuke the Turners once your lemmings have made it to the exit.
