Digger is a skill that can be given to a lemming. It is the eighth of the eight skills available in Lemmings (seventh in the 2006 remake), as well as the Classic Tribe in Lemmings 2. Diggers create a vertical tunnel downwards, not stopping until they run out of ground to dig or until they hit steel. You can also stop a digger by giving it another task, such as a builder.
