The bear trap is a steel trap, commonly found in cartoons and magic shows, that will clamp onto an unsuspecting creature's body if stepped on.
In the Lemmings series, it is found in the Dirt tileset of Lemmings and the Egypt theme of 3D Lemmings. Due to the Lemmings' small size, this trap has the unfortunate result of lopping off a Lemming's head when it sets the trap off!
