An Access code is a password made up of several letters that players can use to access a level at anytime from the main menu. Every time a player successfully completes a level, they are granted the access code to the next level.

- Because the access codes of the Amiga, Macintosh and PC ports are always 10 characters long, each of these ports can use the other's access code.
- On the Macintosh version, the New Level window can be access by typing Command (⌘) N.
